Larry Bird is a famous basketball player and coach who started his basketball career in 1974 with Indiana Hoosiers on an athletic scholarship to Indiana University. However, he did not stay there for long and quickly moved to Indiana State University and started playing in the NCAA for the Sycamores.

He started his professional career with the Boston Celtics in 1979 and stayed with them till 1992 and found great success during this time. During his career as a player, he was a 3-time NBA champion, and 3-time MVP and has several other accolades under his belt.

He also played in the national team with the likes of Magic Johnson and Michael Jorden. But after the Celtics, he joined the Indiana Pacers as the coach in 1997 and stayed as coach till 2000. Since then, he has been associated with the Pacers in a variety of different roles.

Connor followed his father’s footsteps and joined Indiana State University and played in their basketball team. Connor Bird has had no shortage of legal troubles as he was charged and then found guilty of trying to harm his girlfriend. He allegedly threw a cell phone at her while at Indiana State University and tried to run her over with his car, he was 21 years old at the time.

He was subsequently arrested and charged with battery with injury, intimidation with a deadly weapon, intent to harm, possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal mischief. He had marijuana when he was arrested and that is why the drug charges were included.

Since the incident and growing up, he has stayed away from the limelight and likes to keep a low profile, and maintains a personal life away from the media.
